Animal Crossing: New Leaf Review

Life simulation games can achieve success through providing the player as much customizable content as possible or glorifying the mundanities they might experience themselves in real-life. Animal Crossing as a whole tries to provide a balance between the two, leaving in what can be manageable as a fantasy versus the hardships of reality.

Grading Sony's E3 Press Event

How did Sony do at their E3 press conference? Pretty damn good.

Why New and Old Players Should Be Excited for Dead Rising 3

A lot of people were surprised to see the return of the Dead Rising series at E3 during Microsoft's Press Conference especially after a lukewarm response to Dead Rising 2 . Capcom has decided to go in a new direction with the series while still keeping a lot of things that made it unique.

Nintendo's expectant titles shown, but is that it?

Gamers asked, Microsoft listened

I’m excited now, I don’t know about you. Microsoft delivered on what gamers have been complaining about since their May 21st press conference. GAMES, we finally got the games. Some were impressive as hell, some not so much.

Remember Me Review

The one thing I truly admire Remember Me for is the chance to do something unique. To go against the grain and try to make something work. I feel like the risk was totally worth it but will agree that this game isn't going to make any waves. Sadly, doing something different won't garner the attention it truly deserves. Find out why I support Remember Me.

PrE3: Sony's got game but can they rebound?

Many people are touting this as the year for Sony to come back and lead a new revolution for game consoles, and they may be right. Sony has been doing a lot to show that they are all about the games. They want to be able to bring in as many developers as humanly possible to bring you the  most unique gaming experiences. Will they accomplish this? It's hard to tell, but it certainly sounds great and they could do it. Sony has made a huge effort to entice not just big publishers to come on board, but the indie developers as well. This could be one of their keys to success in the next generation of consoles.

Indie Luchador
UnEpic Review. OLE!

Who doesn't enjoy a bit of Dungeons and Dragons? It requires a great deal of imagination if one wishes to truly enjoy the experience, as well as a Dungeon Master who is capable of not only being imaginative, but very devious. UnEpic does its part to bring the player into this fantastical world.

Expeditions Conquistador Review

Expeditions Conquistador is a game that could easily be overlooked. If you look at videos or screenshots you will see an average looking strategy role-playing game, but there is more than meets the eye with this one. Expeditions Conquistador is full of history, deep strategy, and compelling RPG elements. This is a game that not everyone will be able to sink their teeth into, but those that can will find a diamond in the rough.

Prime World: Defenders Review

Tower defense games have been popping up more and more every year, and to be successful they have to find a different approach. Prime World: Defenders has definitely found that, and the game provides a unique experience that makes it much more than a simple tower defense game. It blends some of the best parts of several different genres including tower defense, collectable card games (CCG), and the addictive nature of MMOs. There is a lot going on in Prime World: Defenders and it might not 'click' for you from the outset as it took me a few hours to quite understand the draw for this game, but once I got it I easily became addicted.

The Night of the Rabbit Review

Not enough games come along that are just plain charming, but The Night of the Rabbit is certainly one of those games. This game bleeds charm and is full of whimsy as well. The Night of the Rabbit takes you on the journey of a young Jeremiah Hazelnut who wants to have some adventures on his last few days of summer vacation.
